Young People, Social Media and Life in Millbrook

This project explores how young people in Millbrook use social media, the platforms they spend time on and the reasons they go online. It looks at social media as a source of entertainment, connection and communication, while also considering concerns around screen time, online safety and limited alternatives in the local area. The research found that many young people would welcome more offline opportunities, including youth clubs, sports, gaming spaces and safe places to meet friends.
