Could a Community Hub Work in Millbrook?
This project explores whether Millbrook would benefit from a shared community space combining social activities, learning opportunities and practical support. Based on 70 survey responses, the research found limited support for a standalone bookshop and café, but stronger interest in a flexible hub offering social connection, creative workshops, skills courses, local employment opportunities and activities such as gaming, book clubs and community events. The findings suggest that any future space would need to be affordable, conveniently located and shaped around a broad range of community needs.
